Credo Capital
The success of Credo Real Estate’s business model in Singapore’s
collective / en bloc sale market provided a unique platform for
their expansion within Singapore, and to Asia Pacific and South
Asia. As reported in The Business Times on 10 April 2008, Credo
Real Estate is targeting fund management as an avenue of growth
for the Credo Group of Companies.
After extensively canvassing potential investors, and substantially
researching and identifying available opportunities, Credo Capital
Holdings was incorporated on 3 July 2008. Credo Capital Holdings,
as the fund management arm of the Credo Group of Companies, will
operate independently of Credo Real Estate’s other businesses.
Credo Capital Holdings will set up and manage individual funds investing
in the region’s real estate markets. The first two individual funds
have progressed past the feasibility study stage and are expected
to be launched in late 2008 or early 2009.
Credo Capital Holdings’ investment philosophy focuses on maximising
returns for investors over the medium term by opportunistic asset
acquisition and disposal, as well as proven property and asset management
techniques.
